APPLICATION METHODS :
Impregnation techniques include pressurized impregnation, spraying, soaking,
dipping, etc. Material to be treated must be dry and free of any residues
of cleaning fluid, gasoline, naphtha gas, oil, etc. which can inhibit effectiveness.
Lined material must be treated on both sides. After laundering, shampooing,
steam cleaning, etc. material must be re-treated. Apply two or three light
sprayings for best results. Avoid over saturation. Materials do not have to
dry between sprayings.
SHAKE WELL AND TEST ALL PIECES OF MATERIAL FIRST FOR BEST RESULTS.

FYRE-GARDE ® will protect
an area of approximately 50 - 150 square feet per litre depending on the material
to be treated. ie. heavy synthetic fiber as opposed to a sheer natural fiber,
hardwoods as opposed to softwoods, etc. All porous materials can be treated to
a wide range of retention depending on the degree of fire retardancy required
and the nature of the material to be treated.
