SUNSHIELD 2000 ®
SUNSHIELD 2000 ® applied to ceiling panels in 1995 as the sole insulation material to prevent condensation. The fact that once SUNSHIELD 2000 ® is cured, it is impervious to moisture means that the erection of the building can be done in the rain.

TESTIMONIAL LETTER
To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to attest to the capability and functionality of the insulation system called Sunshield 2000, which we used on our building. Sunshield 2000 is purported to be comparable in its insulation ability as SuperTherm, which is a nondeteriorating liquid ceramic R19 insulation.
This building is a pre-engineered steel structure with metal clad roof and walls. It was erected at the beginning of 1995. Sunshield 2000 was applied by Eagle Specialized Coatings prior to the building going up. It is unheated and not air-conditioned. We were looking for a cost effective, fast, efficient and long lasting method of eliminating condensation in our production facility. The standard method is to use fiberglass blanket thermal insulation with a vapour barrier and a liner. We chose this product at the recommendation of the building contractor.
To date our experience has been that the product has performed as per specifications and consequently we have experienced no condensation. The product appears to be in the same condition as when it was first applied with no deterioration whatsoever.
In addition we find that the building is cooler in the summer even though the insulated coating was applied to the underside of the roof. One other benefit of applying to the interior side is that the working environment is much brighter.
In conclusion we have been extremely happy with the performance of this insulation system over the past 7 years and would not hesitate to recommend it to others. Please feel free to contact us for any further information.
