TOTALSEAL UHS ® is a two-part epoxy coating system that has been designed with specific additives to promote adhesion when used on concrete and masonry. It is high in solids to be used for low V.O.C. and “green” applications.
TOTALSEAL UHS ® demonstrates excellent chemical and solvent, fire and static resistance. It will provide outstanding water and humidity resistance as well. SURFACE PREPARATION Surface must be clean from oil, tar, rust, grease, salts, and films.
Surface must be completely dry before applying.

APPLICATION TOTALSEAL UHS ® can be applied by brush, roller or spray; however, the preferred method is by air or airless sprayer.
• NOTE: The number of applications and the thickness of each should be in accordance with the job specifications.MINIMUM SPREAD RATES (mil thickness) Porous Surfaces– Apply 1st application using a 50/50 mixture of TOTALSEAL UHS ® and MEK mixed well. Apply this at 200 sq ft/gallon (18 sq mtr/gallon); 8 mils wet/3.6 mils dry (to penetrate into pores. Allow 4 hours to dry and ventilate well, then apply 2nd application of 100% TOTALSEAL UHS ® at 200 sq ft/gallon. Wait 24 hours and apply the last coat of TOTALSEAL UHS ® at 200 sq ft/gallon. CURE TIME Note: Surface and ambient temperatures will determine cure time. Introduction of heat over surface will enhance the cure time. CLEAN-UP EQUIPMENT

IMPORTANT:
Do not apply to chlorinated rubber. Even after sandblasting, the chlorination can attack the solvents and brittle the coating.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Applicator must, at all times during use, wear a Bureau of Mines-approved, 2-stage (charcoal and cotton) paint spray respirator, designed for removal of organic vapors, or a fresh air-supplied type of respirator. Protective clothing and protective eye-wear goggles) are recommended.
